Rite Aid Health Solutions is a pharmacy benefits management company with a network of more than 50,000 pharmacies nationwide, including Rite Aid pharmacies, other retail/chain pharmacies, and independently owned pharmacies. We manage your patients' pharmacy benefits by providing formulary, claims adjudication, and clinical pharmacy services. For each prescription claim you submit from your pharmacy, our DUECare software performs a real-time edit, helping to prevent drug events such as duplicate therapies, drug-to-drug interactions, patient non-compliance, and poly pharmacy.
How do I know if my pharmacy is included in Rite Aid Health Solutions' network that serves a specific plan?
Rite Aid Health Solutions has more than 50,000 participating pharmacies nationwide. If you're a member, you can get a list of participating pharmacies by calling 1-800-277-1657. If you're not currently a network pharmacy member and would like to join, please call 1-866-828-5966.
How do I know if my pharmacy participates in Rite Aid Health Solutions' "Rite Fill 90" program?
Currently, only Rite Aid pharmacies participate in the "Rite Fill 90" program, which allows patients to obtain a 90-day supply of their maintenance medications at the pharmacy counter.
How do I know what information to adjudicate for patients?
In order to adjudicate claims for your patients who have Rite Aid Health Solutions as their pharmacy benefits manager, you will need to first input information located on the patient's prescription benefits ID card. The member's first and last names, 9-digit ID number and person code ("01" for member, "02" for spouse of member), and member's date of birth need to be updated to your patient's profile before adjudicating the claim. There is a 1-800 number located on members' cards for you to call in the case of questions or problems adjudicating claims.
Who can I contact if there is a problem with a claim?
